Tips.
⦁ To turn on or off the light in the display cabinet, press the black round
button behind the white router next to the DvD.
⦁ Dont drink the tapwater. However its ok to use while cooking, such as
boiling eggs and potatoes etc.. You do not get sick by drinking the water but
it doesn´t taste good. Buy waterbottles in the store instead.
⦁ Automatic fuses are located behind the front door inside the hatch on the
wall. Should any fuse blow, disconnect the main power, orange button, that
you turn downwards and then switch back on again, to make it work as
normal again after current fuse has been reset and any problem has been
fixed.
⦁ Transfer to the airport is ordered via SMS or call to Anders, see contacts.
Alternatively, contact one of the taxi companies. Even tha local bus can be
used.
⦁ Never forget to bring the keys when you go outside, the doors will
immediately get locked when close them.
⦁ Never close the balcony door from outside, cause you vill be locked out and you
would not be able to open it from there, this also applies in the laundry
room.
⦁ There is a communal pool only 2-3 minutes from the apartment,
Take the first left past the playground and then down to the left again.
It´s open from June to the first week in September.
Washing of bed linen and towels.
• In order for the washing of bed linen and towels to work smoothly, you are asked
to put the current fee, per person in an envelope that is placed on the kitchen
counter. The fee is indicated at the kitchen counter.
• This is mandatory and applies to everyone if you do not want to do the (washing)
laundry yourself. If you bring your own bed linen, of course no payment is
required.
• If you choose to wash youreself before the departure, remember that
EVERYTHING SHOULD have time to dry, fold and put back in its place
BEFORE departure!
On departure.
⦁ Leave toilet paper so there is enough for the next guest´s to use the first few
days or so.
⦁ Leave an UNOPENED bottle of water in the kitchen, at least 1.5 liters.
⦁ Make sure it is cleaned after you, (but it does not apply if you ordered
cleaning by payment).
⦁ Leave the refrigirator and freezer doors open (ajar), to avoid bad smell.
Feel free to follow up with the booking person ( Ove, see contacts)
preferably thrue sms, if a new guest will arrive soon, in that case , possibly
the fridge and freezer and also the electricity can be left on!
⦁ Check that windows and doors and the patiodoor is properly closed.
⦁ Check that the AC are all switched off and of course the stove and
dishwasher before you leave.
⦁ See to that the main power is turned off unless otherwise agreed. (see
above).
The laundry room.
⦁ For best ventilation, open the roof with the crank. However, do not forget
to close the roof again when you go out or go home or if it starts raining.
⦁ The drying rack is conveniently placed during the stay on the balcony or
outside the entrance. NOTE! Cleaning is normally carried out on Fridays so
avoid putting the drying rack there at that time.
⦁ Think enviremental, and consider electricity and water consumption by
filling the washing machine completely before each wash instead of washing
often with very little and almost nothing in it.
House cleaning.
⦁ Cleaning is of course mandatory and you can choose to clean yourself or
pay for the service, which is booked in connection with booking the
apartment. If you have not booked this, it can be done via SMS to Anders,
see contacts. The fee for this is paid in an envelope on the kitchen counter.
A receipt is obtained afterwards if desired. The fee is indicated at the
kitchen counter.
⦁ Keep in mind that non-approved cleaning is charged afterwards with 1,000
SEK. This is determined by our contact in Torrevieja during the inspection
after each rental. ATTENTION! If the cleaning fails, this cannot be
disputed!
⦁ CHECKLIST FOR CLEANING
⦁ Vacuum and dust everywhere.
⦁ Wet dry the floors.
⦁ Clean the fridge and leave nothing behind.
⦁ Leave nothing behind in the freezer.
⦁ Clean stove and oven.
⦁ Clean the microwave and other kitchen equipment.
⦁ Emptyout the garbage (trash).
⦁ Clean the toiletseat and the shower. Attention! Don´t forget the floorstrainers
and open them up and remove whats needs
to be removed.
⦁ Clean shower walls, mirrors and tiles.
⦁ Clean wardrobes and chests of drawers.
⦁ Clean mops and other tools and empty the vacuum cleaner.
⦁ Put bed linen and towels in the laundry bag if you pay for washing. See
further under the heading ”Washing of bed linen and towels”.
Kitchen.
⦁ If something happens to break, you of course replace it.
⦁ The Cooker hood is started by pulling it out. The fan’s main switch is on the
wall by the outlet. Controls for speed and light are on the underside of the
fan. The ceiling in the laundry room should be open if the fan is to work
well.
⦁ For the dishwasher to work well, there must be salt for the dishwasher in
the hole on the left side at the bottom, inside the machine. Loosen the lid
and fill salt (for dishwasher) that can be bought at Masymas, Spar, etc. type
of stores if they run out.
⦁ See to that the refridgerator door closes properly. Press the door firmly, it
can be a bit tricky sometimes!
General House rules.
⦁ Smoking is always prohibited in the apartment and on the balcony without
exception.
⦁ Think about the neighbors who may not be on holiday now and need to sleep,
so turn down the volume properly after 22:00 local time.
⦁ Turn off the AC in each room when you go out.
⦁ Respect the opening hours for the pool, 10.00-22.00 local time and other
rules in that place.
⦁ If any of the fixtures in the apartment breaks (glasses, plates, lamps, etc.),
buy new ones in the village nearby.
⦁ If you discover any other fault in the apartment, which you cannot fix
yourself, let us know as soon as possible, preferably by e-mail spanien@gavlesp.se.
⦁ Remember to take care of the apartment that we all together own and
manage through our staff of employment club.
⦁ Sheets, pillowcases and duvets MUST be used in the beds at all times.
⦁ NO other types of paper than toilet paper or any other items may be flushed down
the toilet, as it easily clogs the drain. Any costs for cleaning the same, are charged to
you, who rent the apartment.
⦁ Garbage sorting also applies here. Across the street outside the gate there
are bins for plastic, paper and glass packaging as well as other rubbish. In
the apartment there is also a small bin for sorting.
